Sales Master TM is an innovative training tool which can be used either as a free standing sales training package or to compliment an existing in-house training system.
Sales Master TM comprises two major components: a game and an online training package. The game is specially designed to appeal to sales people by stimulating their competitive streak to make the most money by providing answers to questions based on their command of the sales process.
Once
a team has landed on a question space they are given one minute to come
up with a team answer, which is then rewarded by the Games Master
(facilitator) who awards play money in proportion to the quality of the
answer given. The other teams are then given the opportunity to expand
on the answers in order to earn bonuses. The Games Master can use
the Coaching Notes incorporated on each question card to assess the
quality of the answers given and provide instant coaching where
necessary or appropriate.
Sales Master TM can be played by colour or by track. In the colour version, questions are asked based on the colour of the space on which the team’s counter lands. In the track version, questions are asked from the top of the “randomised” pile which allows the Games Master to predetermine which questions the teams will have to answer while playing the game.
Selling of course is about closing. So at the heart of the game there is a set of sales scenarios designed to test the acumen of the team and their ability to sell under pressure. Satisfactory answers to these questions earn three times as much as answers to the other questions in the game.
However the real power of Sales Master TM is the online training which forms its backbone. The product is supplied with access to a suite of online video training programmes covering every aspect of the sales process. Hosted and demonstrated by world class sales professionals, the seven main modules deal with the sales cycle and there are also other short lessons to supplement these skills.
Each module comes complete with a fully downloadable set of slides, a complete transcript, a comprehensive search facility, course notes and a course test. Managers can monitor the performance of individuals in their team and ensure that skills have been properly absorbed. Alternatively modules can be viewed as a group exercise, in which case individual assessment and monitoring is not possible.
Sales Master TM is completely flexible in design and can be played for as little as 20 minutes or as long as 2 hours. The training modules consist of more than 6 hours of continuous online content which will take the average student up to 10 hours to review – the equivalent of spending two days in the classroom at a conventional course. And because they are online they can be reviewed as many times as necessary during the initial license period which lasts for a year.
Sales Master TM is available in a variety of end user configurations depending on the size of the sales force and the exact nature of the user’s business.
Although the questions supplied with Sales Master TM are general in nature and will be suitable for use in most B2B sales environments, customised questions can be produced to meet particular selling situations.
